Will Brown
Will Brown is a young Australian driver who is a proud partner of Only Cars. A passionate racing driver, his career began at the age of 13 with his karting career. Extremely talented, Brown had an 80% win rate during this time and won numerous junior championships.
He is known for his dedication and hard work ethic. In 2015, he competed in the inaugural Formula 4 Championship in 2015. Racing for BRM, he won 3 of 15 races during the season. He then won the title the following year in 2016.
In 2016, he also raced for BF Racing in the Australia Formula Ford series where he placed 2nd overall. He also placed 1st overall in the Australian Toyota 86 Racing Series, where he raced independently under Will Brown Motorsport.
He joined the Supercars series in 2017, competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series for Eggleston Motorsport. Driving a Holden VF Commodore, he placed 9th overall. The following year, he competed in the Super2 Series again and placed 6th overall. In 2018, Brown also competed in the Supercars Championship for Erebus Motorsport.
2019 was a very busy year for Brown. He raced in the Super2 Series again for Eggleston Motorsport and placed in the top 15. He made his second appearance in the Championship, competing in the Virgin Australian Supercars Champions for Erebus. He also won the TCR Australia in a Hyundai i30 N TC for HMO Customer Racing.
As of 2020, Will Brown has been named as a part of Hyundai's Junior Driver program. He will compete around the world in Hyundai's i30N TC vehicle. Renowned for dominating the inaugural TCR Australia, Brown is one of four driver's to be racing the i30N in international championships.
Currently, Brown is competing in the Supercars Championship series for Erebus Motorsport. He has had a fantastic season in 2021, claiming his first Supercars race win at Sydney Motorsport Park in November.
Will Brown lives in Toowoomba, Queensland and has lived here his entire life. Outside of motorsports, he enjoys water skiing and other physical hobbies. 2021 is his first year as a full-time driver for Erebus Motorsport, having co-driven for the previous years.
He has decided to remain in Toowoomba as he still works in his family business. Brown's family have a long-established car dealership in Toowoomba.
Brown says his previous experience in the dealership business helps him manage his business relationships. He has multiple sponsors and has managed to balance multiple partnerships at one time whilst undertaking his other commitments.
Brown is truly one to watch in the racing world. At only 23 years old, he is an adept driver with a wealth of racing talent. His success in the 2021 season thus far is a true testament to this.
