This 2009 AWD Impreza RX hatch is part of an iconic brand that stands apart from the regular crowd.
With a look reminiscent of Europe the 2009 Impreza is more attractive. It ‘s shorter, taller, wider, and lighter, with more cabin and boot space.
Inside the cabin, there was a fresh new dash, upgraded seats and trim, better insulation and isolation, and a height and reach adjustable steering column.
It has reasonable head and legroom for the class, and would swallow five, but a little snug for the middle back row.
Features include fog lights, leather steering wheel, 10-speaker sound system, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Apart from being all-wheel drive Subaru also has a ‘boxer’ layout instead of following the more normal in-line engine layout.
The Impreza’s ‘boxer’ layout with its 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed auto provides 110 kW and 196 Nm.

The Subaru has good active safety with all-wheel drive with ABS anti-skid brakes. Airbags for the front, side, and curtain. ANCAP rated the Impreza to 5 stars.
