2015 NHP170G TOYOTA SIENTA G 7 SEATER HYBRID MINI MPV
This is the 2nd Generation Sienta mini MPV/people mover which was produced in Japan from 2015-2022.
It has heaps of space for carrying objects that would normally be impossible with a smaller hatchback.
The rear seats can also be stowed under the middle seats & out of the way, to give you more cargo room.
The middle seats can also be folded flat, this creates a huge amount of space for this size vehicle.
Combined with the dual electric sliding doors, this means, it would also be ideal for anyone needing more space to move things or the occasional trip to large hardware or department stores etc.
The Sienta is available in 2 different specification levels, Hybrid X and Hybrid G
At this time, only the 1.5L hybrid versions are allowed to be imported into the country.
This particular Sienta is powered by a 1NZ-FXE 1.5 Litre 4 cylinder DOHC Atkinson cycle petrol engine and electric motor which is mated to a 1 speed e-CVT transmission which Toyota calls the ‘Hybrid Synergy Drive.’
This is the exact same system that was used on the Australian delivered Prius C Hybrid hatchback and the imported NKE165 Corolla Axio & Fielder Hybrid sedan & wagons.
The vehicle can switch between petrol and electric power whenever needed (also depending on the particular requirement at the time). The vehicle can also drive in pure electric vehicle mode (EV mode) for a few kms at a time. When the hybrid batteries require charging, the petrol engine will start up and recharge the onboard batteries.
