Order books open for Lotus Emeya hyper GT

Buyers keen to get their hands on the 2025 Lotus Emeya electric hyper GT can now throw their hat in the ring, with Australian vehicle production brought forward. Demonstrator vehicles are arriving at dealerships this month. It's set to be available in three trim levels, the Emeya, S and R.

To be priced at $189,990, $209,990 and $259,990 respectively – all plus on-roads - all variants utilise dual motor propulsion. This means a 112kW battery pack with 800W architecture, a 22kW on board AC charger and support for up to 350kW DC fast charging is standard across the range.

The entry level Emeya and its S sibling enjoying 450kW and 710Nm of torque. Those wanting more can opt for the Emeya R to experience 675kW and 985Nm of torque. All variants feature all-wheel drive with Lotus ICC intelligent torque distribution.

The Emeya and S offering sprint to 100km/h in 4.15 seconds, with the R making the trip in 2.78. Charging time to 80 per cent via a via 350kW DC rapid charger is 20 minutes while your average wall box should take around 5.5 hours. Rang is between 498 and 600km on the Emeya and S, or 434 to 484 in the R.

Multi-link suspension features front and back, with dual chamber air springs and continuous damping control providing stability and prowess on the road. Kerb weight tips the scales between 2,480 and 2,575kg, while all variants have a 141mm ground clearance.

Luggage capacity is 426-litres (four seats) or 509-litres (five seats), which can be expanded to 1,388-litres when you fold the rear seats in the latter variant. Frunk room totals 34-litres. Importantly, with a configurator already live, Lotus Cars Australia has confirmed late 2024 delivery is still available.

Customers will be contacted by their local retailer, who will help them complete their order. Of course, a more traditional, walk-in showroom based configuration and order placement process is also available. All Lotus Emeya variants are covered by a 5-year or 150,000km warranty.
