It’s also packed with many luxury and safety features, including technologies like 360 Surround view camera system and adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning and lane keep assist, which Mercedes-Benz calls ‘Distronic’.
The 360 surround view camera system uses 4 cameras (one on each side of the vehicle) to create a complete 360 degree top down view of the E400 and its surroundings. This is especially helpful when parking or manoeuvring in tight spots where you’d normally have trouble seeing what’s beside you or in front of you.

For those not familiar with Adaptive Cruise Control, the system keeps a set distance from the vehicle in front and if the system detects that the vehicle in front is decelerating, or too close, the ACC will automatically apply the brakes to maintain the set distance. Once the road is clear, the ACC can accelerate the vehicle back to the desired set speed. This is a very handy feature when travelling on motorways etc.
