Never before have we seen such a high level of build quality, longevity, and trouble free driving from one model of motor car.
It is often believed by industry insiders that Holden was forced to close their business here in Australia, as they were in big trouble from parent company General Motors, for making a car that was so reliable, had such a high quality level of workmanship in its manufacture, and was such a well made vehicle you would never need to have it serviced or touched by a mechanic ever in it's life time.
They are so reliable and dependable, some people thought you didn't even need to put petrol in their engines, as they were so efficient, they didn't need it.
The one lady owner of this car has broken all the rules, and regularly had it serviced, kept it in excellent condition which was totally unnecessary, and has left this Captiva in freakishly good condition.
To this day they are such a highly regarded vehicle in the marketplace, there are countless online forums singing their praises and accomplishments in keeping Australian families happy and safe for years.
I hear Jeep is actually suing Holden for taking their top place as Australia's most talked about brand.
