This 2013 LPG Commodore wagon is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, 25 km from the CBD.
While we consider reasonable offers, be aware we have priced this car as competitively as possible, so our price is fixed.
Sometimes the car you get in feels just right: that’s the Holden Commodore Evoke LPG.
It’s the wagon (albeit with the $2500 optional factory-fitted LPG tank) complete with cloth seats, and Commodore’s 3.6-litre V6. The 3.6-litre V6 feeds through the six-speed Commodore automatic and produces 180kW of power and 320Nm of torque in this LPG form, and you get that torque at a low 2000rpm.
The LPG Evoke is quicker, and in the mid-range, it picks up its skirts and punches on. Thanks to the LPG’s extra torque, it snarls away from traffic lights if you push the loud pedal to the floor.
Steering is mostly well-weighted, the car turns in quickly, and the wheel’s a good, handy size.
It’s an honest car with some decent equipment. Coupled with the front and rear parking sensors, you get park assist which allows the car to do some of the work getting into tight parking spots. There’s also a rearview camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, six airbags, dual-zone climate control, and an eight-inch touchscreen that accesses Holden’s MyLink system controlling the sound system, as well as doubling as the standard reverse camera screen.
The Evoke’s cloth trim suits, and the big seats are comfy on both short and long runs.
The rear easily swallows a family’s gear, shopping, work samples, or whatever. It is big and easily accessible, and there’s a remote button on the key fob that opens it up fully. The LPG dedicated engine will bring a smile to your face at the petrol station.
