This is a proper Hiace - Brand New - from Japan (unlike the new Australian delivered Hiaces which are a re-badged Japanese Granvia and do not come with a 4WD option).
This Hiace has the new 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine which has more power, more torque and better fuel economy (same engine as the new Hilux) and the uprated 6 speed automatic gearbox)
This High roof model is the perfect car for a camper conversion and has excellent off-road capability. She comes standard with 2 inches of extra ground clearance and the drive train is a constant 4WD system similar to a Kluger.
For serious Off-Road The rear diff is the same as an Aussie Hilux so a Rear Diff Locker can be supplied and fitted by local Aussie 4WD shops (such as Opposite Lock Franchise stores).
This one is ideal for a camper conversion with th ehigh roof and windows all around.
