The W202 series was launched in 1993 and marked the first generation of Mercedes-Benz's compact class to bear the C-Class designation. It succeeded the well-regarded W201 series, which had successfully introduced smaller models to the brand’s line-up, complementing the larger W123 and W126 saloons.

This particular vehicle is a late 1994-built, 1995-complied C180 Esprit, part of the W202 series. It is finished in striking Imperial Red with an immaculate cloth interior. The cabin's condition is further enhanced by its original factory sound system, which has since been upgraded to a more modern unit. Having travelled just 130,019km, this car has been meticulously cared for, with the front seats protected by sheepskin covers until very recently.

Originally delivered by G-Brothers of Mona Vale, the car comes complete with its original owner’s literature, manuals, service log book, owner’s folder, and both original keys. Features include cruise control, central locking, four airbags, ABS brakes, and electric mirrors.

Powered by the 90kW twin-cam 1.8L 4-cylinder engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. This combination offers both reliable performance and impressive fuel efficiency. The W202 series is increasingly admired by Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts for its durability, safety, and engaging drive, and we are confident that this highly original and low-kilometre example will prove to be a sound investment in the years to come. Registration in NSW is until January 2025.
